I am the centre Director of Oxley Early Learning Service and my dream of running my own service from day one has finally come true. Growing up I knew I wanted to find a career where I was able to share my love of education with children and pass on everything I loved about my child hood.
I stared my journey in college where I studied a certificate in Community Service then after finishing year 12 I went on to receive a traineeship and completed my Certificate three in Children's Service. Realising this was my true passion I went on to do my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Advance Diploma and a Diploma in Business Management including an Advanced Diploma of HR.
Since having my first child in 2011 I realised the importance of providing a service where each family is supported. My aim is to provide a high quality service that becomes a part of your extended family. A place where you and your child can look forward to coming to each day and you can ensure while they are in our care they are provided with a play based program that supports all their developmental needs while having a great time.
I have a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Teaching (Birth-8 years) from the University of Canberra. I am passionate about Early Childhood Education and Care and am third generation, and the fourth teacher in my family, with my mother, aunt and grandmother all being qualified teachers.
Our Oxley Early Learning environments will be inviting and supportive, allowing students to work collectively and encouraging individuality. Learning programs will be shaped around the students' curiosity and interests, and we will encourage them to extend their knowledge and skills.
I am very much looking forward to being a part of the development of Oxley Early Learning Centre.
