To join our waiting list, parents must submit an online application via the ENROL NOW button. Once you have submitted your application you will be advised via email that your child has been added to our waitlist. Submitting the online waiting list application form does not guarantee you a position at the centre; it simply places you on the waiting list.
Process for Filling Vacant Postions - Centres are required to fill places as soon as notification is received that a vacancy will occur. We are unable to estimate when positions will become available, as vacancies arise only when current families leave the centre or change their enrolment, which is something we cannot predict. There are many factors taken into consideration when allocating places. Vacant positions are offered following the Priority of Access guidelines, the days available, the age of the child, and the date a waitlist application is received. Families not responding to places offered within two working days of a verbal offer will be returned to the waitling list and the position offered to the next family on the list. The service will notify families of the starting date for the position as the Centre is unable to hold positions for families. It is the responsibility of parents to keep their information up-to-date and remove your application from the waitlist if you no longer require care. Failture to do so could result in applicants missing a vacancy if they are unable to be contacted. Once a vacancy becomes available, you will be contacted by telephone or by email. You have two working days to accept the position. Once the position has been accepted a Bond invoice will be issued to secure your placement, enrolment pack and orientation process begins.
Availability of positions - Unfortunatly, due to the unpredictable nature of long day care waiting lists the centre can make no guarantee a placement will be available when you require care, nor can we provide estimated times of when positions will be offered. Many factors influence the waiting list such as the days required, how many children leave the centre, flexability of parents preferred days and priority of access guidelines. Our centres only accept bookings of two or more days and if part time must include a Monday or Friday.
